Unpaid Advertisement

Little Red Dave is not a commercial entity. Which is good because it only has about three readers and one of them is my mother. Another is my aunt.

So, LRD doesn't usually do product placement. However, under these circumstances, he has to give a plug to the wonderful Joma Bakery and Cafe (Vientiane, Luang Prabang and Hanoi). While the My Lao Home hotel we where in was very comfortable its 'included breakfast' was woeful and we were there for three nights.

Thankfully, just around the corner was the Joma; its comforting warm tone and wood interior, its croissants and baguettes, its great coffee and its (heaven of heavens) soy milk.

So, thank you Joma. You saved my stomach. Possibly my life.
